Refrigerants are regulated products. EPA Section 608 certification is required to buy some of them, including R-22. Use only in equipment designed for this refrigerant.
Description
R1234yf is a low-GWP HFO refrigerant primarily used in automotive air-conditioning systems. It has become the standard refrigerant in most new passenger vehicles in many markets, especially as manufacturers moved away from higher-GWP automotive refrigerants. Because it is specifically intended for mobile A/C platforms engineered for it, R1234yf remains a practical choice for new-generation vehicle air-conditioning service and maintenance.
